Overview

The CRE Finance Council (CREFC) is the trade association for lenders, investors and servicers made up of more than 300 companies and 11,000 individuals engaged in the $4.4 trillion commercial real estate finance industry. As an intern at Union Design, I was one of the primary designers that worked on various projects for this client. These jobs ranged from designing brand items and miscellaneous assets for social media and web pages relating to some of their major conferences. I also worked on newsletters and marketing materials for their smaller subcommittees.

CREFC Conferences

One of the major projects I worked on was the CREFC Conferences that were held throughout the year. Some were huge three-day events that happened annually, while other conferences were much smaller. The client asked us to create a distinct, impactful visual presence for each conference while still maintaining the company’s core identity. As one of the primary designers, I worked on brand ideation, web/social/email assets, event ads, Powerpoint Slides, ID badges, and other application types, all under the Creative Director’s supervision.

CREFC 2022 MARCH CONFERENCE

The CREFC March Conference was a one-day event that happened in New York.

Every month, different committees would release a newsletter. I was tasked with laying out spreads and ensuring they followed the subcommittee’s unique brand.
